im looking to get lower in the bike and i belive this seat is off a heritage 1984-1999 can i make this seat work ?
I'm pretty sure a '99 and earlier seat won't bolt right up. It might fit with some work, but I haven't seen any advertised that bolt on. '99-earlier, and 2000-up, exclusively, with some exceptions, I believe, even on the '00-up. I've seen some advertised '03-up.
I would think any 2000 or newer Heritage seat should fit, though.
I spoke to my dealer today because I sent my seat to MCC & couldn't ride until I get it back. Heritage seats 2005-2010 are identical, prior to 05 they're different. I found a new (less than 100 miles) 07 Heritage seat that I bought this morning so I can ride until the end of next week when I get my MCC modified seats back.....Can't wait until I get my seat back from Allen & Co.!!!
