VooDoo ,

Ran the Pro-Pipe for over a year with the quiet baffle before modifying it , can tell no difference in performance . When downshifting the popping which never was that much is somewhat more noticeable . Checked my Power Commander maps to see if there was a map for the performance baffle , all maps just say " Pro-Pipe " , no mention of what baffle . Know it is not too lean as popping is no problem plus I smell gas , if anything it's a little rich .

I got the rinehart 2 into 1 and have had a ton of compliments on it.
the pipe is mellow at highway speeds and will rip when you get on it

On the Softails I really like the Screamin' Eagle Pro Tunable 2 into 1's. They sound sweet and look awesome. Run about $540 for the whole system. Check them out in your dealer's Screamin Eagle catalog if you can...

I just changed over to a V&H Pro pipe too...with the performance baffleas well...I have a 98" Revolution cylinder kit (Nikasil) with ported/flowed heads, TW37g cams, Crane lifters, S&S/Zippers G1 carb and intake. I used to have BuB Jug Huggers (2 into 2) and was making 98 HP/112 TQ...I knew I was leaving something on the table so I decided to go with the V&H...sadly when we ran the first dyno run for a bench mark I'd lost about 4 HP and about 10 ft lbs TQ...my dyno guy had a standard baffle and we did the next run with it in. Got almost all my HP/TQ back...I'm headed back in a few days to finish...I should be over 105 HP and likely lose no TQ at all...my dyno guy said that you need a BIG engine...likely 113" or bigger to gain anything from wide open pipes...
