Just blast 'em... If you screw send 'em out for PC... lol

When you are wet sanding with 600 scotch pad or wet sand paper... use soapy water!
The soapy water will help to degrease it cause it may not look like there is a lot of grim but there is... you'll see when you start sanding... The sanding is the toughest part... Break open a six pack turn on a radio and go to town... I'm sure you be happy when you're done.

for projects like this i usually try and score some cheap take-offs on ebay that way If I screw up or don't like the outcome I can go back to stock.

You will love it, I did mine last winter and not even a chip yet. Enamel holds up nice.
