Slip-ons
Hey, it's me again.
My 06 deluxe is a tad too quiet. I'm sure most will agree. I'm looking at the Arlen Ness big sucker and some slip-ons. Have you heard of Rush slip-ons? My local dealer sells them, and I'm told that they sound great. They aren't too expensive (~$250, I think), and I plan to install them myself. I was just wondering if anyone had any input on these. FYI, My dealer also tells me that the Power Commander will negatively affect my warranty, so I'm doing the HD download. Anyway, thoughts on Ruch pipes?
By the way, I do like the dual pipe look and want to maintain that. I also have the HD saddle bags on my bike.

Rush slip-ons...never heard of them? You want an awesome sounding bike and want to use slip-ons??? Go with Cycle Shack!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You can get them on Ebay for $125 and they are the best sounding as far as slip-ons go. My roommate has the screamin' eagle and there is no comparison. Honestly, I've heard a bunch and Cycle Shack is the way to go.
I have an '05 Deluxe with rush slip-ons installed. I like the rumble and sound they provide. They sound great. I am completely satisfied with the Rush slip-ons. Listen to some audio of Rush slip-on sounds at www.epiflex.com.
