Unhappy A few ???

I have recently purchased my first harley, and love everything about it. My problem is because i'm so tall 6'10" i find my legs in a not so comfortable position. I have found a place that is gonna mod the seat for me moving it about 3" back and 3" down. I was also gonna add some apes so i can strech my arms out. Now the real problem is with the footboards, can i remove these and add some forward controls and if so how far forward can I go? Any ideas or suggestions of what I could do would be great. Thanks.

Moving the seating position back is a good idea, but moving down won't help. You need to increase, not decrease, the distance between your butt and the pedals. There are several floorboard extender brackets available via the aftermarket to move the boards forward and/or out.

Try Harley Goodies and Kuryakyn.

That is a sweet lookin bike but I do have to agree to not lower your seat...also that bike should already have forward controls. There are kits to increase the controls another 2-3" and that should help alot. Enjoy the bike!!
