To all, thank you very much for your feedback. A lot of great information. For comfort of my wife (the most we would typically travel is an hour or two, so no need to get another bike.... or is there? ) and for the cost, it sounds like a good deal. However, Dan and DragonSlayer have convinced me the DG seat will work with this with little to no mod. So, that said, I'll have a FXCWC seat for sale here soon!
Thanks, all. I'll try to post pics when I get it done.

Dropped my Rocker C off today to get the new seat done finally. Going to get you guys a price on the passenger seat also since I will have one made for my bike later. I'am getting a discount on the new seat since I was referred to this guy by a friend of mine that I ride with who is good friends of the guy who does the Harley seats.
I think the regular price for the seat is around $400 which is somewhat cheaper then Danny Gray. Will post pics when i get bike back which I think maybe Thursday evening.

Make sure whoever is riding on that pillion seat hangs on, because they are going to feel and go up and down with ever bump as the Rocker rear fender is tied into the suspension system.
I had the basic fender guard and a saddle bag from Biker's Friend on my fender when I rode to NC from MN and I could feel every bump through the saddle bag in my back. The little bumps where like a back massage, but the big ones about knocked my kidneys out.
While it may work with no damage to the fender, it would still be a very rough ride for a passenger... like riding a hard tail.
$1400 Bitchin' Seat Custom Rocker Solo w Bull Hide $ 450 Bitchin' Seat Fender Support System
$1850 total for Bitchin' Seat solution, ready for pillion pad
$1800 Heartland E-Z Rock-R Conversion Kit $ 450 paint fender & rock guards to match
$2250 total for Heartland solution, ready for pillion pad
To me, just $400 more for the Heartland kit is worth it, especially since the passenger would have a more comfortable ride and the overall look is MUCH better, IMHO.
thanks... but i still dont get it??.... the pillion bobs up n down on the fender??
and yeah i'd go the heartland kit any day....nice to have an alternative tho...pitty its noy priced better...

Yes, as DragonSlayer08 already said, unless you go with the Heartland (where the fender is anchored to the frame via struts}, the fender still moves with the swingarm, so any seat or pad attached to the fender is going to have a rough ride, moving with the swingarm/fender.
austinharley, thanks for the reply, but I'm still confussed. In post #4 of this thread DragonSlayer says the Danny Gray seat won't work with the HD Touring System Kit. BuckeyeBiker in post #21 says DragonSlayer says it will.

I missed that. I'm sure DragonSlayer can explain. Since the other post was almost a year ago, perhaps he thought it would work with the DG seat and found otherwise.

I was thinking it would fit when I posted that, but to make it fit I felt I would have to compromise the integrity of the seat mounts on the Danny Gray so I did not go that way. I also decided that I wanted to have the HD two-up seats done in custom leather at some point.
I believe BuckeyeBiker was saying that Rocker_Dan and I convinced him to go with the HD 2-up setup, not that I convinced him the Danny Gray would work with the HD set-up. Rocker_Dan brought that point up.
Rocker Dan found a way to make it work with his setup (post #5 in this thread also below):
