I've got an 08 Rocker with a Danny Grey seat. I want to add a passenger seat for my wife that is removable and comfortable. I don't want to do the Heartland conversion because I like my back end. Do I have any other options? I do like the Heartland passenger seat, however, it probably wouldn't work with a DG seat, right? Thanks in advance.

I'am dropping my Rocker C off Monday night to a guy that does seats out of his house and he is doing a seat like the Danny Gray (BUT A LOT CHEAPER) plus the pillion seat that is removable like the one at bitchin seats web site
I have looked for 2 up options also. I tried the Corbin Widowmaker, but that damaged my fender 2 times (long story). Two other options are 1) Heartland Kit (pricey), and 2) Bitchin Seat, but the last time I checked there rider's seat alone was $1,000 and you would have to add the stuff for a 2 up on top of that. Both of these options are going to run around $2,000 plus. I decided to go with the HD Touring System Strut Kit (see and part numbers pictures below). It is for the Rocker (FXCW) so I had the struts chromed and it will not work with the Danny Gray so I bought the Rocker seat. The total cost of this setup including having the struts chromed through Chromemaster ran $909.80. The part numbers are as follows (bought all parts from Zanotti's):
I plan on getting the Rocker seat made over with viscolastic dry polymer (sometimes called 'gel') and maybe recovered and it will still come out cheaper than the other options. Geez, by the time I got this posted you already had two replies.

I modified Touring System Strut Kit 53935-08 to work with a seat similar to the DG seat just needed a bit of a shave where the main seat hole mounts...

Hey guys, thank you for some things to think about. Metal, I don't see the passenger seat from bitchin'... where should I look?
Also, to the gentleman that recommended the HD system, how much/where do you have to shave?
Okay, please forgive my ignorance... so let's say I scrap the DG seat (sell it) and go Heartland- is there any way to keep my fender as-is (no drilling, etc.) and do their set-up with the passenger seat? I think I like Heartland's version the best.
the one problem i have the hd strut kit is i think your passenger sits really high above you. with the trick seat passenger set up they are a llittle higher but with this hd strut kit they are up there.i also bought this kit had it all chromed and installed it, i may have wasted my money, im not sure i like it at all, the ride for the passenger is way more comfortable though.

Will do Mike, and thank you for the feedback Dawgs. That's the same thing I was thinking. Is there a Heartland available without the fender modification?
If you are interested in the Heartland Kit Biker's Image is offering them for discounted prices. Here is are pictures of the Bitchin Seat Co. 2-up seat (they were in the Gallery under Rocker):
It uses this fender support system ($450), the Bitchin Seat ($1,000), and the passenger seat (couldn't find a price, but I am guessing $500 plus).
