i got my 2010 fatboy low today when i put the bike in 1st gear it makes a lound clunk sound is this normally or should i call mt dealer......thanks people
When my ride was new just about every time i down shifted to first when comming to a stop sounded like i lost my tranny a block back. Or even starting my bike in nuetral then shiting to first "CLUNK"..I have noticed that when i switched to HD syn3 it eased my pain. My bike shifted alot better. Did this at my 1000 mile fluid change. But your tranny has changed from 09' to 10'..

Yeah, it's normal. When I did my 5k changes, I changed all three to Lucas synthetic 20w50 motorcycle oil and it helped, alot. It's still there from time to time though. I personally don't worry to much about it, just slam her and go.............................
