Default What could it be?

I have a 2009 deluxe. We went out this morning for a ride did about 50miles going on the way my gas light came on so i rode for a while with it on found A gas station and gased up.On the way home the bike was running fine all of a sudden I hit a pretty big hole in the road(good old nyc)and after that my bike started running funny. It felt like it wasn't getting gas almost like it wanted to stall out and then it went.It felt like when a Cars plugs are fouled.could it be bad gas I never let the tank run down that far before i always top it off maybe it was all the old gas at the bottom of the tank.

As pottsy says, probably picked up gunk. I know with a car I had, I had to replace 2 fuel pumps due to crap in the tank. Mechanic advised never let it go under half a tank.
Now with the heritage I fuel up at about 200k, so I don't have similar probs.

good deal, get some silicone grease from auto shop. there is also a rubber seal and if broken then use silicone rubber to seal it
