Forward Control Extensions - Regrets?
you refering to the +3 's ?
HB,
I put on the same Arlen Ness 3" inch extensions on my NT. It was pretty easy and took about 2 hrs. I then went on a 1500 mile tour of Scotland and the bike felt completely different in an awesome way. It has been one of the best mods I've had done to the bike.

I put mine on about 18 months ago, one of the first mods I did.
I'm about 6'2" on a good day.
Only thing I need to do is replace the SS line that came with the AN kit with the black pearl brake line from Magnum to match all my other lines/cables.
I did have to replace the brake light switch after about 5 months.
$10 and about 15 minutes.

Switching back and forth between my bike and the wife's Nightster does feel weird though. I usually end up bashing my shins on her mid-controls, and hunting for the controls at the front of the bike when I take off.
If you gonna do the extension, you want the +3 ones. Its great...
and to the other question, yes one inch does make a big difference. If they had a 4 inch one I would have done it at the time.
