I keep my EZpass in my jacket pocket. I just pull it out when going through. I got the hang of it now. This way if they ever do snap a shot of me going through because it didn't register, they can clearly see I am holding it up as I pass.
I bought a really nice billet aluminum tag holder that mounts to my engine guard or handle bar. It was pretty expensive ~$75.00, but looks great and works all the time.

Here in NJ the EZ pass goes in the front then once it's registered the sign tells you to cross. And the pictures the camera take show your whole vehicle.
Here in Texas (TxTag) they issue a bulky beige plastic box. Tried attaching it to the inside lower part of the windscreen using hook & loop. Looked like crap and it fell off in a few days from the heat.
Wanted a semi-permanent solution that looked better and wouldn't come detatched. Hit on the idea of using a heavy duty industial strength locking fastener tape that they sell at Radio Shack. It is not hook & loop -- heavy interlocking tape with some serious adhesive backing. It can be removed, just not easily (WD40 helps).
Attached the TxTag to my upper fork triple facing out so it is visible through the windscreen going through the tolls. Been through them a couple dozen times so far and never seen the red violation light. Toll shows up on my monthly statement so I guess it is reading okay. Guess it could be ripped off, but it's not something I'm going to worry about.
Here in Texas, we have the bulky box also. They have switched to the new windshield sticker for cagers.
The boxes only work every now and then. I keep mine in a swingarm bag. The lady at the store stated that the box won't work most of the time and that they always check the license plate for coverage before issuing fines. I've went beside many a down bar and have never received a fine or notice.
Always aproach the barriers on the side where you can pass just in case. Dont' ask me why I know this!! :-)
