the first thing you have to do is stop trying to start it.
take it all apart again yea i know but better be safe then sorry. and check to make sure evererything is installed correctly.
.. ill tell you from experience that if you are hearing noises now and its not starting what do you think you will hear if it starts.
it might not start as the noise you are hearing might be the valve hitting the piston .
the valves might be hung open due to improper pushrod adjustment or the rocker boxes have not been clearenced and preventing the valves from opening or fully closeing.
I saw the cracked rocker cover, but glazed right over "the Middle".
Thats his problem ask us for help on one of those foreign 3 cylinder jobs !
Dude i have a 94 evo the rockers have three parts.... the one with the acual rockers in it then you have the middle cover that is just kinda a riser then you have the third top one with covers it all up... Not 3 cylinders lol...
i took the head off and brought it to the shop hopfully they will know otherwise ill put it back together and bring the hole thing in to the shop.. i know the pinion gear on the cam is on there right cause there is pretty much only one way it can go on then i lined up the dots with the pinion gear and the plasic thing forgot the name right now.. but yeah so not really sure... so guess iam not a troll or whatever that is and not too far over my head if i know how to replace my cam and take my head off and do all that work on my own... wow
