First off, I am definately trading the Sportster for a Deluxe. I want to this by the spring. Really no rush, but I can't help but be a little impatient.
My biggest problem......and I feel embarrassed to say.....is trying to choose a color.
I know some of you guys probably stopped reading my post at this point. But I just feel that if I'm gonna spend this kind of money, I don't want any regrets.
I'm a little disappointed in the colors offered. No pearl black, the blue seems a little to bright for me, like the two tone blue/white, but it may put me a little over my price range. My dealer has a left over turquoise/antique white and I don't know if I really want a green bike. I like the "old school" kind of look, of it though.
Is this just a girl thing? Maybe I should just shut up and ride, screw the color.....
When I went to get my bike , black was what I didn't want. Guess what colour I have!!! It's an 08 and seeing other bikes since I got it I'm satisfied with my choice. I must say the turquoise/antique white has caught my eye. You'll enjoy the ride whatever the colour.
My wife decided last December that she wanted a Soft tail Deluxe and black was out of the question. Well this July she got her Soft tail Deluxe and guess what color it is? BLACK. After looking at all the colors she decided black was what she liked the best with those wide white walls. Gotta say I like it too, after all black is the fastest color.......
Turuoise & white is a bad *** color, makes the bike look very retro. I'd go for that over the blue & white anyday.
+1111111 Turquoise and antique white looks real good ... Make sure you ask dealer to pull it out in the sun and you would see what I am talking about... take it out for a test ride & watch those heads turn.
I wanted the Turquoise/white deluxe from the first time I saw it on the HD web site.I have no regrets ,the color really gives it a nostalgic look and I get compliments about how good it looks all the time.
