Hi Guys,
I own a 2005 Heritage softail classic and i am replacing the floorboards with forward controls, I can purchase a set that fits up to 2004 softail but gives no further info if these will fit later models, will these fit or were there changes between the models for that year, also nobody seems to be able to tell me the rear brake master cylinder bore size 3/4 or 5/8 for the 05 heritage not even my steelers mechanic, any help would be greatly appreciated, as i have tried everywhere for an answer.
Regards Steve
I can't answer your question because I don't know.
But I can tell you this: Generally give the right person a chance to come along. It may take more than 3 hours. Especially on a Friday night. Relax and be patient.
TOPIC has come up many times. About guys switching over to FORWARD CONTROLS, including myself. Majority of guys said keep your FLOORBOARDS YOU WILL REGRET TAKING THEM OFF, so i listened and im GLAD I DID!!! Went with the MARK 3 CRUISE ARMS made by KURYAKYN, ONE of the BEST MODS I EVER MADE. Now i have the best of both worlds. GOOD LUCK
