I've got the V&H Double Barrel Longs on and they're very nice. They've already got the quiet baffles built in. Other choice would be the true duals or the 2 into 1.
Wife just traded her Street Bob in on a 09 Deluxe. It has stock pipes and I need to know what you guys would suggest for a Deluxe. I know nothing about softails so help me out. Thanks.
If i was to do it again, since the deluxe style mufflers are a little reminiscent of the high low drag pipes, think i would give them samson cannons ago. they look pretty nice and am sure being samson would sound good....plus you be saving a heap of cash for other stuff.....Also in black. so team them up with the black screaming eagle heat shields................................... http://www.samsonusa.com/SM-101.html
i have been trying to make the same decision....i personally like the big radius pipes...and the general consensus is defininately no..so just yesterday i picked up a set of big shot staggered ....and this morning over in the photoshop room one of the members finished and posted a photoshopped picture of my bike with big radius pipes..and im really thinking of going back and swapping to those..lol heres the photoshopped pic...
ere are a couple pics of the wifes Deluxe. First one is with Vance and Hynes Side Shots, Second is with Cobra 2 into 1 Both are good pipes with good sound, but the Side Shots were far too LOUD!!

Which one has the better sound? My wife had Rineharts on her Street Bob so she kind of likes about that much loud. She definitely wants something louder than her stock pipes on the Deluxe.
