Hey I miss the old kickstart shovel's. They were a good barometer of how drunk you were when leaving a tavern. If ya couldn't get your bike started you were too drunk to ride. Now with the flick of the thumb and yer down the road.

I am putting a kicker on my softy and it's fuel injection and i was told i will work..I have a buddy that put one on his and it work and just one kick it starts....I also looks cool with the pan syle rocker box's and the geneator cam cover

If your buddy added a kickstart to his bike, he is no longer fuel injected. He would also have had to changed his ignition. Complicated swap just to add the coolness of a kicker

Rode my Shovel today and since it's kick only, well, it's got to be kick started. Gave it 2 shots of gas, pumped the kicker through 2 times, switched it "on" and kicked her to life with one swift kick. More effort than pushing a button but also more rewarding.
