You would still have to hit the run switch, and wait for it to prime but other than that i don't see a problem with FI kick start. It would not be as convenient as a kicker because if your battery is dead your bike is still dead.

I know it won't work with the Delphi ecm, but will likely work with the Tmax ecm, since there is no ignition delay.

I have my panhead to satisfy the urge to kick a motor to life. I don't understand why you would do that to a modern bike. For those of you that want jockey shifts or kickstarters or whatever, why not buy an old bike? There are a lot of them available and they need loving homes.

My knee has been hurt too many times over the years to even think about kick starting a bike. It hurts just to see someone do it.

u feel it the right way man, who wouldn't want toput a kickstart on a retro project bike without losing the current benefits of modern technology?
I actually began cooking this idea once I saw a video on youtube of a 3-yr old "kickstarting" a twinky,actually... it was an effortless electric kickstart, neverfound that video again, but still like the fact of having a kickstart on the bike for a retro look, better yet if it'sactually functional
