Be very careful because there isn't much room between the strut and fender. Having a second set of hands will help. I know some people who will put masking tape on the sides of the fender before installing it.
+1 on the blue tape.
If you don't have an extra set of hands to help you, running dowel rods thru the holes of the strut and bracket help maintain algigment as you bolt the fender back on. I also taped the brackets to gain a foothold otherwise they like to fall out as you try and bolt everything back together.
One issue I ran into was not cleaning the top inside of the fender before applying the electrical conduit. The conduit seperated and my tire wore the wires dang near all the way thru.
All in all the fender swap wasn't too bad!
