I rode from Florida to North Carolina in the rain last month. It sucks, but after the first 250 miles its starts not to matter so much. Just go ride it!

It rains most of the time in the UK, especally up north. I tend to hop between dry spell's and have become a weather geek since I got the Fat one. You can wash the bike all you want but as it cools down here it stays damp and the bike, it stays wet for at least a day, water sitting on the bike whilst it sits in the garage. Winter means salt, lots of it on the road, Makes you wonder why you buy a Harley sometimes. I used to ride all year round but I've wrecked too many bikes with winter riding and its breaks your heart to see the salt burns on chrome.
