Default gear ratio

any body changed the sprockets to change the gear ratio,my Fatboy has 32 trans 66 rear I am thinking about changing the trans to a 30 so it will pull better on takeoff this thing will cruise at 100mph in 6th no problem but by changing sprockets maybe I can use 6 gear under 75 or 80 mph

Thumbs up

What year is your bike??? What size is the rear tire??? I went from a 200/55/17, to a 200/50/17 and it changed the overall gear ratio because of the shorter rear tire to where 6th is much more useable and 3rd and 4th are great around town bar hoppin! Plus it lowered the rear too.

I just did cams this spring and with them it pulls 6th now easy at 60, better or the same as 5th used to be around 50.....
And fuel mileage improved with them....
