I think all short shots have end caps on them. I still can't figure out how to take mine off though. Anyone know if there is a screw that needs to be removed? I tried the WD40 and needle nose trick, but no luck so far.

There should be an allen head screw on the backside of you pipes near the ends of them.

Didnt thiat kill your performance? I tried that and it did sound better except the funky sucking air back in the pipe sound on deceleration and the bike had way less power due to no back pressure on the exhaust.
Yes. Its that perforated looking metal that slides up in the pipes that is attached to the end cap.

The baffles are one piece that slides in the pipe. Like a tube with slots in it.
