Without trying to sound like an arrogant *****, I'm going to say that the Progressives are a fine shock, far superior to the stock (if you ever install them, you'll never go back to stock). If you're a fairly agressive rider, you'll love them. If you're a real aggressive rider, pushing for all you can, you'll like the Works much more. My guess: the Progressives would be an awesome shock for 95+% of riders. For the rest, looking to get everything you can out of your soft tail, Works Performance are the next step up.
My bike is set up for solo riding only, so I can't say how they'd do two up. Then again, they'd be built to those specs, so...? Hope that helps a little.[/QUOTE]

I've read Ur post a couple time, and have looked at the 422 several times in the past.
07 heritage, ride two up 95%, grandma and I, 390lbs total.
I have never even scraped the floorboards, so just the opposite of Ur riding style.
So when U say the 422's are FAR superior, in what way are they over the stockers...had ours adjusted at 1k service and since haven't bottom out since then.
Do or will they ride smoother, softer, take bumps softer, ????
Not really displeased with the stockers. Just wondering whats better if changed out.
What would be a good upgrade for the front? Ricor Intiminators, more Progressive stuff, or the new HD Premium dual cartridge set up?
Thanks
