I picked up my 2005 Heritage Classic this past Thrusday. The original owner has never washed it nor has it ever been in the rain. I want to keep it that way and need advise on which products are best for doing this. I have read that Meguiars Detailing Mist is good for in-between-washes. But what about to use instead of washing? You can see how clean it is even though he never washed it. Pic attached:
Go to Harley Shop pick up the $50.00 S-100 cleaning kit, or just the engine cleaner, it will make it look brand new if you ever get it dirty.
Really I just use Stoner window cleaner in the spray can for most quick clean-ups, Novis #1 for the windshield, and Mequires NXT was and Booster spray wax,.and the softest plush cotton towels i can find, and use them only once, then in the washer and dryer.
By the way Nice Bike, Brian, Ride On , Ride Safe.........[8D] [sm=biker2.gif]
Good luck on the purchase...I love the Harley Gloss. My favorite cleaning product. try to avoid using drying cloths, a blower is better to dry then use a t-shirt rag to touch it up.
Yes WolfDog, it is Lava Red Sunglo. Just like yours. Like those pipes on your ride too! Will swing by the HD dealership and look for the S-100 cleaning kit. Any idea where the Novus #1 spray for the windshield is sold?

Thanks for the replies. But, I'm wanting to keep my baby clean without using water. Is this possible? Will I have to eventually use water? The previous owner said if bugs got on it from riding, he just used a spray to clean it off. Can't remember what spray he used though.
Whats wrong with water? I used water for 35 years with no problems. Am I missing something? I would think sprays and rubbing the crap off is worse then spraying it off with water prior to wiping. If you actually ride your bike the road rash is going to eventually do more damage then water ever will. But then if you don't ride your bike, well then nevermind....................[:@]
