Cool. Thanks. I tried the Mequiars Detailing Spray on some chrome and it took the finger prints off nicely. If my ride gets too dirty, I will use water and maybe go out and get one of those Mr. Clean washing systems. Seen them in the local Advanced Auto Parts for around $35. Now, I'm just looking for a good wax or wax spray.

Nice looking ride. Don't worry about the water. I wash mine and spray it down with the hose and have been out in the rain plenty. As far as wax goes try some pig snot. Works good for me.

Now I assume pig snot is a type of wax? Sure hope I do not have to make a trip down to the farm. [:'(]

'06 Heritage Classic, cobalt blue / silver pearl. Make sure the bike is STONE COLD. Spray S100 on the paint, chrome, mirrors, leather, rims, tires, windshield. Wait a few minutes, then make sure you rinse really really good. Blow off water with shop vac on exhaust. Wipe down with micro fiber cloth. Go Ridin'!!!!

Brian,

Not to doubt you but if the bike has ever been into HD for service cahnces are it has been washed down - our HD dealer always delivers the bike back with a fresh spit (read washdown) shine. Enjoy the ride ... you still Navy?
