Hey jezcruzen,

I dont use air compressor either. Use a leaf blower. It works great at blowing most of the water off especially if you keep it waxed. then a quick wipe with the shammy and its time to go riding again.

My new house has a gravel driveway about 70 yards long. Blows dust in my garage and on my bike. Pissed me off so much i got a price on paving.

Getting it done in a couple of weeks

Its funny how your prioritys change after you buy a harley.

i wash it, blow it off with my compressior, ride it!!

even if theres a chance of gettin laid......i aint goin down no dirt roads!!!
Oh yeh...and pigs can fly! If the right opportunity presented itself, we'd all ride down the middle of a stream bed and up a mountain trail. At least at my age, that's how we'd do it, maybe at your age, you can still carry the bike up the mountain trail. Art

I can relate to the dirt road. We live about .3 mile off the highway and I put white limestone on it several years ago the gravel was just to mushy when it would rain now the limestone is dusty and theres a hog farm across the road(brother in law) and one up the road about 1/2 mile(brother in laws brother) so theres always dust in the air. The ole left blower gets a lot of use around our house.

The air compressor is good for getting off the water. The high pressure can pick up grit it you are not careful.

At my fire station we use the leaf blower to remove excess water after washing the engine. It puts out a high volume of air and does a great job.
