I think I made my mind up about the bars. I'm not going to go with Fatboy Lo bars, instead I'm going to go with the Heritage bars, much better feeling.

hmmmm, I about to make the switch to the FatBoy Lo bars.....hope I don't regret it
I have had my Lo since September '09.
Hate the seat.
Hate the handlebars.
Back and butt pain after 1/2 hour & I'm 5'10'.
Any suggestions on a seat/handlebar replacement that would put you in a more comfortable/upright riding position before I give up on this ****** bike?
Longest ride on my Fat Boy Lo so far has been about 2 hours. Have to move my butt around a bit here and there but other then that seat is ok.
Bars - Personally I would like them to be about 2 inches closer to me, but after 2 hours very minimal stiffness in back etc. Very comfortable ride imho.
I will be putting on the black street slammers however, I like the look and they have a little more pull back.
i've put about 1000 miles on mine now and dont regret swaping the stock bars (narrow beach from the s/e fatboy) to the bars from a softail custom. no plans to change the seat yet but i have a glide for 2up longer rides.
