I have had my Lo since September '09.
Hate the seat.
Hate the handlebars.
Back and butt pain after 1/2 hour & I'm 5'10'.
Any suggestions on a seat/handlebar replacement that would put you in a more comfortable/upright riding position before I give up on this ****** bike?
I was in the same boat as you man, hated that setup. But, I switched to the street slammers and what a difference. I still run the stock seat and it keeps getting more comfortable as time passes. I tried other seats, but until I swapped the bars i was not happy.
I have very long arms, so no problem with reach for me, I actually feel like I have better control with the Lo bars compared to the stock bars. I also have the Lo seat, although it's not made as well as the stock 07 FB seat is, but I only use the Lo seat for long distance two-up riding. Normal 2-up is a C&C Sport Tour
I just ordered Burly Brand Bikini Beach bars from the Dr. The Lo bars made me stretch a bit. I liked the low profile and these new bars should do that. I also ordered custom made grips from Darwin, AKA Brass ***** Bobbers. When its done I'll post pics.
let me know if any of you out there want to sell the lo bars that you took off, as i've got a FatBoy with stock bars & i need a little longer reach, as i'm 6'3"
edit; i've just scored a set of lo bars, so disregard ^^^^

Dave,
I don't know if I asked you this but did you have to get new cables and rewire with the slammer bars?
I like the stock "regular" FB bars but was told I would have to get new cables etc to put them on the Lo.
I've got a set of FB Lo bars that i took off my bike.. I don't have the foggiest clue as to how I would pack them/ship them whatever, but if someone wants to make me a good deal let me know.. they've still got the stock left grip on them (because it's attached with glue or something from the factory), and I can throw in the stock throttle grip too.. no cables or anything though because they stayed for my streetslammers
oh hell i fell for my own complaint..didn't realize how old this thread is. but still, if anyone wants them throw me a PM. and no, i'm not going to put them in the classifieds section because they're not really "For Sale", except if someone actually wants them.
I took off the stock bars cause I hated them... I was used to being stretched out and when I had those stock bars I felt like I was riding a crotch rocket... but everyone else seems to like them
