Because of a accidant some weeks ago i'm looking for
some partnumbers of a X-bones.
I hope there is somebody outthere who has a partsbook for a FLSTSB
Cross Bones 2008.
1 x Complete springer frontfork.
1 x Frontwheel.
1 x Frontfender.
1 x Frontfenderbracket.
thats bollocks.....why dont you try another dealer and see what there take on it is? an american one maybe because even with the shipping its still going to be cheaper i would think.... especially if you order all the parts from the same place
Yes i ordered some stuf from a US dealers in the past. Thats why i need the partnumbers at most of these webshops.
These numbers are not in my accessories catalogue.
Can't get to my parts book at the moment, but if I were you, I would get the service manual/parts catalogue, you will need it anyway to re-assemble the front of the bike.
OK, found my parts book ... too many numbers to list here, and the dealer is right, no part no. for complete fork.
Front fork FLSTSB is 35 part no. (about 25% is nuts and bolts, but they need replacing too)
Front Rockers/Caliper mounting: 23 part no.
Handle bar risers: 8 part no
Front Fender Assembly: 17 part no.
Front wheel: about 15 no. (front wheel can be bought laced, but does not have bearings installed)
Would have to scann about 13 pages because without the drawings it doesn't make sense.
You can get the parts book from Zanotti for about $45.00 I believe.
Harley stopped selling complete springer forks(no part # available) , just individual parts.
Considering how popular they are, I can't understand there decision to stop selling!
I wonder if they were selling more springer forks than springer bikes ?
OK thanks for all your input. I'll try tomorrow to visit the dealer and get some answers, specially to the total costs of the repair he mentioned to my insurance.
I dont want to have a feeling that my accidant fills up only his pocket.
