Default Mini Tach on a FLSTC.

We bought the following Mini Tach and associated parts and had them installed by the dealer back a couple of years ago:
68953-04 HD ACC KIT, MINI-TACH/BLACK $113.41
67206-04 HD HAP KIT BRACKET, MINI-TA $48.31
67524-04 HD ACC KIT, CAN, MINI-TACH $18.55

Misc parts for installation: spacer, clamp, etc $6.75
Labor, 2 hours: $169.90

This makes a total of about $356.92

I really like it!

I'd be interested in putting one on my Heritage too.

H-D make a combination speedo/tach if you want a tach but don't want the look of a separate tach, or you can purchase a H-D mini tach and bracket and install on risers, easy job.

I have a Riser mounted mini-tach on my Deluxe. I'm thinking of taking it off. I didn't like the combo speedo/tach unit so i went with this. I think it messes up the look of the APEs quite honestly.

There are a couple of threads about the HD combo tach speedo breaking after a short period of time. A tach is unnecessary in our book. You can feel when you need to shift.

I've had a few bikes with a tach, most haven't, including my Train...I never paid any attention to one when I was riding because I've always been a seat of the pants kind of guy...they're useful as a tuning tool , but other than that, I don't have a need or use for one...
