Tach for a softail

I really like the look of that. I assume the mileage will be correct? My guess is the ECU holds the mileage and not the speedo mechanically?

Any thoughts on that?

I am considering changing the dash and this would be good to do at the same time.

I believe the Stealership puts in your correct mileage at time of sale, but i could be wrong.

I'll give'em a call, I would prefer accurate mileage so there is no confusion if/when I ever sell.

I put one of the Speedway speedos on my Sportster. Trying to get it calibrated was a little involved but the part that bothered me was at some point initially the odometer mileage I had saved was overwritten and went from 7450 to something like 717650. Speedway couldn't answer how it could happen and I would have to buy another. This was after owning the first one for two weeks. This happened a couple months ago. I just purchased the H.D. tack/speedo for my FXSTC. Speedway deal was neat but I wasn't impressed with their support I guess.

I've got a Dakota Digital Speedometer/Tach for sale in the classifieds (Softail section) if anybody is interested. This thing is sharp and will do everything but make you breakfast! Tells you what gear you're in, 0-60 times, 1/4 miles times, clock, multiple trips, etc. This thing is cool...gets lots of compliments!
