yeah i agree im looking for a new one or a take off but all i can find are front ends off older fatboys and i dont know if they will fit or not....

It seems to me that the springer front end is what makes a cross bones a cross bones. Putting a different front end on would be like chroming everything out on a night train. But that's just my opinion. Before you invest any money you might want to compare the rake of your bike with that of a fat boy. Changing the front end may alter the handling characteristics. It may be more cost effective to trade yours in on a fat boy or heritage, rather than spend a pile of cash to try and get something to fit. Again it's just my opinion but I think the cross bones looks great with the springer and I wouldn't change it.
