I'm thinking of changing my rear fender on my night train this winter. Anyone who has done this, what did it add up to $ wise. How much did a $200 fender end up costing when you added in the paint, lights, blinker, & plate relocation etc. Also what about the struts. The stock one won't fit, will I have to have them custom made?
For mine, Currently not completed, but in the works...
Fender-$100
Side mount plate/light-$60
Paint-Irrelevant, whole bike will be painted later this winter, but by me...
Turn signals-In Va., They are not required. I think they fell off.
So we are right areound $200 including paint, minus my time...
Went from this to this for 250 painted.Go to a swap meet and pick a fender up.I paid 40 for this one 100 for paint and 110 for the new light and tag bracket.G.
