i have an 07 fxst with a silver motor but you know what ? its a harley, need i say more ?

go to -donniesharley.com and look under mods how to.he did a silver conversion to black and shows all the steps and stuff you need,not a bad job from the looks of it

Engines powdercoated at the factory

Don't rattle can your engine. The factory says in their ads that the engines are powdercoated. If you paint it the paint will peel and it will be a never ending job and it still won't look factory. Just chrome your engine out. Silver looks great with a lot of chrome.
