Default Help Changing Covers - Need Info

I bought a timing case cover and the big round transmission inspection cover.
Is a bunch of fluid ganna dump out on me when I go to swap these out, or is it pretty simple...

Thanks a lot

Keep the bike level, ideally with a bike jack or bike lift and there should be no oil spillage.
I have had some guys tell me that with the 26 oz (or whatever it is) of fluid, you should be able to do it on the side stand and oil should just come to the bottom of the hole. I only know that in the one case when we tried that on a friends Deuce it must have had too much oil in from the factory as we did make a mess on his driveway. I have had mine off several (many?) times and it is not a big deal.

Thanks guys. That's exactly what I needed to know.
I'll do it in my neighbor's driveway just in case it spills a little
