In answer to your second question. Everything on the bike is a HD part. All the covers are wrinkle black. Lower forks are satin as well as the drag bars. In my humble opinion the key to a good looking blackout is a contrast of blacks. Powder coating in the end probably would have been a cheaper option, but I think the bike would end up looking a lot more monochromatic. So yes, I paid way too much to the stealership but I had a good local bike shop do all the installs at less than half of what the HD shop was going to charge.
I think also I would be remiss If I didn't mention at some point that COLEMANFU's Dirty Fatboy was the template I used from the beginning. If HD hadn't made the Lo this year I pretty much would have carbon copied his bike.
