Anyone know the top speed of a stock 2005 Fat Boy?
My sig bike made it to 110 mph with a windshield. Remember though, it`s just a 5 speed for that year....

Look, I don't have to prove myself right with this, as it will be a waste of my time and gas, I have a ton of time, retired Army, just not a lot of money, retired Army.
How's this, I will bust out the GoPro cams, make a video and post the YouTube link in this thread. Please allow me a week or so, to get gas money, film the run, and post it.
Hey gents, myth busters is on right now 11sept16 at 730pm. It's about motocyclists being killed by a bug to the face/throat.
You do that Luke, cuz it all sounds like bullshit to me.....

No clue how fast the new charger srt8 top end is, but my step-brother has one, and he never stood a chance. Off the line I jumped out, stayed there and kept it hammered. He said he backed out at 165 because I was still pulling on him. I have no idea though as the speedo only says 120, gps on the phone said 168, but how accurate is that? (I have no idea). I have heard that the new fatboy S with a 117 will stomp my bike out. All I really know for sure, is that it's insanely fast for a cruiser, anything over 110 is skatchy because the bike is not meant for that. It's shakes, and shimmys. Not a speed wobble, just massive amounts of wind pushing and a lot of road vibrations. I have 12 inch apes on mine which gives the feeling of sky diving (ish).
^------- That guy is full of ****. No way did he pull 160 mph out of a stage 2 103..... and with apes to boot. GTFO
You'd think, but he mentions that the speedo only goes to 120, and that he beat a Charger SRT at 165. If that was km/h, the Charger would have probably had another 100 km/h on tap.
This probably won't help, but I've had my 07 Heritage up to 105 and it had a little left in it. It's a 96.. The Fatboy has the 5 speed I believe so I'd say somewhere just south of that number..

Depends on a lot of factors:
Rider's weight, riding position, actual gearing, how long each gear has been wound out, distance, angle of the road, wind direction, engine modifications, etc...
I went over 100 on my Lo many times and had some left. How much? Don't know, but no 160 -170, that's for sure. My old V-Max, now that was another story. I sure am gonna miss that video though.
I have a 2013 FB 103 with stage 1. I'm not a speed demon and don't have a desire these days to go fast. I enjoy the ride. But I will say it does 100 mph plus some. I think IMHO what modifications you add to the bike makes the biggest difference. Read the forum about the different stages, tuners, dynos, etc and decide what's best for you and your bike. And no, I don't believe your Harley went 168mph.
