I really wanted to go with the Heartland bobber kit, especially after seeing it on your bike and Alpha Dogs bike. If this kit doesn't hold up I will order just the rear fender kit and keep the seat I am using now.

Saint,
I don't really know how many inches I lowered it but I went with the -2 tubes, and the progressive drop-in kit with just a 1/2" PVC spacer in it. The instuctions said to use a 1" PVC spacer, so I must have roughly a 4 1/2" drop. When you see it in person next to a stock front end it is unbelievable.

What does everyone think, does the Thunderheader really flow with the look of the bike?
Any recommendations The pipes I really want aren't made anymore, so I am at a crossroads.

Let me start by saying that I think your bike looks bad, man. (the good bad)

But since you're asking, I think the color/texture of the thunderheader kind of clashes with the direction that you're going in. I am by no means an expert on bike style (hell, I run the ubiquitous v & h shortshots) but i think these pipes would look cool as hell on your bike.

Yes, they are the Exile pipes but I think they are being sold under the Vance & Hines umbrella. I saw them in the J&P catalog.

I like the Thunder header on your bike.. I think the color of the pipe blends well with the blacked out casings on the Train. I also like the Exile pipes, they give it that drag look. Either one looks great but I am leaning towards the thunder header. Killer looking bike.
