I just recently sold my Road King Classic this past August & am looking to buy either a Wide Glide or Softail this coming Spring. The Road King was a great bike, great ride, just a little too "old" for me right now. I thought the whole "bagger-look" with it's vintage-look & white walls would eventually grow on me but it never did. I had an '07 FXDC before my King & I really miss the lighter-bike, bar-hopper feel of riding that in my opinion, makes you feel more "connected" to the road. Although I really despise the look of the stock 2-up seat, I really like the look of the Softail Custom alot! I can just imagine how it would look with a Brawler seat, Street Slammers, & small bullet headlight, chrome front end, V&H BSS's...ect! So how do you guys like yours? Lots of pics please?
i just got the 2010 vivid black fatboy lol i really like it. i am coming off a 2009 black lowrider.......the fatboy lo gets alot of looks and she is SEXY lol...

wow i wonder what that would look like ???? guess you had better click on my attachments to find out !
Kind of depends on whether you want a rubber mount, or a solid mount. Well, besides the looks. I happen to like my old EVO Softail, even though it isn't balanced. I've ridden others, but like mine best. Softails are great to begin with, and then they grow on'ya. Mine is a 99.
I like my Custom just fine. Had a Wide Glide years ago and thought it was quicker. Even with the TC88 it seemed to have better power than the TC96 on the Custom. But I like the overall style of the Softails better.
