Default velocity stack v's air cleaner

Hi guys, some help would be appreciated

I currently have the standard S/E super tuner, V&H pipes and S/E stage 1 air cleaner set up.

Wanting something that looks a little more wild, I'm thinking of putting a Roland Sands velocity stack on.

Any advice? What are the downsides of a stack verse air cleaner?

Cheers

Snakeyes

A stack has no filter so debris gets sucked right into the motor

Nothing can take the place of a good air filter. Ever see the new Screamin Eagle velocity with filter. Kinda the best of both worlds and it comes with a rain sock. I run a 4" velocity stack on my drag bike and at the end of the season, i've had to check and fix the cylinder walls due to debris that get's sucked in just for 1,320ft
