George is pushing JD's because Dave is GREAT to deal with. I'm 1/2 way across the country, and he does my work. I've gotten my heads, throttle body, and TTS from Dave. My cases are on the way to him right now, so that he can do Timken, bore cases for 113" cylinders, and install new Darkhorse crank. He's very generous with his time on the phone, and won't try to sell you a bunch of b.s. that you don't need. Give him a call.....you'll see!
Back to the original question. The TTS is the way to go these days. If you're ever going to make changes to the motor, you'll already be prepared. Your location says Texas- that's a HUGE state....where in TX are you?
Right next to Fort Hood. Live in Nolanville, work in Copperas Cove.
Which JD's are people talking of? I looked up JD's cycle and there was one in NY, and a few in other places but they did nt seem the same (limited info on the web page).

You guys know of any good threads that discuss the TTS ? I was thinking of going SERT or fuel pak, but im starting to look into this..
Go to "General Tech Forums", then Electrical/ECM/etc. There are 2 sticky topics...start with the bottom one, and start reading. By the way, you'll see posts from Steve Cole- pay attention....TTS is his design/product. He wrote the original Race Tuner program for HD.
