Default Fuel management options/advice?

2007 Night Train, going to use Rinehart 2-1 pipes and K&N RK-3910 (may do cams in a few years...).

I asked this in the tune/EFI section but did not get much.

What would be my best bang for the buck? SERT, PCIII, PCV (will it be worth it on a 07), TTS Mastertune, Zippers Thundermax (seems like way more than I need)?

Would it be best to dyno tune it, or just use a canned down load from Fuel Moto etc...?

Auto tune seems neat...does it work on 2007's?

Thanks for any info.

I would go for the TTS. Easy to use and adapts to future upgrades of the bike. No messy re-cabling needed, good support, no dyno necessary, and above all no piggy backing or replacing of the original ECM. (Meaning it makes use of all the sensors of the bike, and not just a few like the Thundermax)

For a good price, contact Jamie from Fuel Moto.

im also looking at a tuner, Im debating a fuel pak , but I also like the SERT because it doesnt add to the clutter under the seat. Dyno time is a negative ..

Makes it sound like the SERT is best.

But is that still true with the PCV and other new systems?

"The SERT was made for Harley Davidson by The Turbo Shop. In 2008 Harley Davidson decided to go with a new vendor, and they changed the name, as well as all the hardware and software. It's really a new system.

The "latest generation SERT" would more closely describe the Master Tune from The Turbo Shop. They make a stand alone tuner for the Harley Davidson Dephi system that does a whole lot more than the SEPST."

Hmmm.

+1 on the MasterTune System. Great investment!

George is pushing JD's because Dave is GREAT to deal with. I'm 1/2 way across the country, and he does my work. I've gotten my heads, throttle body, and TTS from Dave. My cases are on the way to him right now, so that he can do Timken, bore cases for 113" cylinders, and install new Darkhorse crank. He's very generous with his time on the phone, and won't try to sell you a bunch of b.s. that you don't need. Give him a call.....you'll see!

Back to the original question. The TTS is the way to go these days. If you're ever going to make changes to the motor, you'll already be prepared. Your location says Texas- that's a HUGE state....where in TX are you?
