Lightbulb no exposed cables

I am about to drop some serious coin on a whole new hand control set up and wanted to see if anyone is using the internal throttle and internal clutch. Please also post any type of install considerations.

The mechanism sounds like a good thing while eliminating the exposed cables down to only one for the front brake...any insight would be highly appreciated.

Stay away from Streamline internal throttles. Don't even know if the guy is still selling his stuff, but his bearings are pretty weak and the guy is impossible to get a hold of when you have an issue. I ended up ordering an internal throttle from MotoXcycle. I'm having a shop do the internal throttle thing for me as there are some things I just dont trust myself to do. I just ordered the throttle, so it'll be a couple weeks before it's on.

As far as the clutch goes, you could also consider a foot clutch to clean up the bars.

Could you do a proportion control down on your rear foot and be able to control front and rear just from your rear pedal?

Sorry, that way you could get completely clean bars and still have a front brake.

I used the streamline internal throttle and have no problems as of yet. I intalled the trhottle about 2 months ago. Only issue I had on the install was that I had to manufacture a sleeve to make the steamline work in the stock handle bars. The internal throttle was 1/16" too small and would not tighten up in the tube. I ended up using an aluminum tube and sliced it lengthwise to allow it to expand when the internal throttle mounting bolt was tightened.

installed the motoxcycles throttle a year r so ago..no problems. Throttle is smooth and no re gripping necessary for full throttle. Fausto(owner) is quick responding to email also...

thanks for the responses. hspring03- I hit that link but the main problem is Im going with a 1" RSD bar and their system only works with 1.25..should have mentioned that. I think I will hold off on the internal throttle for now.

Exile makes a kit that would probably work for you.
