Well, I got it all put back together. I'm pretty happy with the results. Just a couple more things to do to it this winter and all my winter mods will be done. Done in time for some toy runs!!

Are those grips comfortable? I was thinking of some Round battistini grips, but wasn't sure how they would feel.

regards,

Dale

The grips are great for me. I've had them for about a year now. I always wear gloves and I can't think of a time when my hands were uncomfortable.

You have a great eye for building a sweet bike, but I think I will miss that flat grey against the red and black. Your Rocker has always had a hotrod's appeal. The black parts look good too, really changes the pop of the wheels.

Yeah, I know what you mean about the gray against the red and black. I liked it too. But I hated my lower forks being gray and when I blacked those out, it really didn't look balanced with the front forks black and the rear swing arm gray. So, I think over all it looks better with the front forks and the rear swing arm all black now. Blacking out the oil tank was my main priority and I'm really glad that's done now.

I'm definitely not a gray hater (obviously, or I would have bought a "C") like some are with the Rocker but there was too much gray for me. Now I've got all the large gray pieces gone and just have the small gray accents. I think I've finally found the right balance. I'm planning on putting on black RSD Rocker Box covers and then I'll be done with my "gray faze out".

I was going to replace the gas tank dash trim panel with a chrome one but now that I powdercoated the speedo cup black, I kind of like the gray dash. Oh well, the chrome one is on it way so I'll try it out and see which I like best.
