do the floorboards come apart or are they connected permanently to the pan? I am going to have floorboards made and just wanted to know if i could use the bottom part (the pan) or Iam going to have the whole thing machined ..There is nothing in the service manual for the floorboards If they do come apart can someone tell me how? thank you

Are you asking whether the rubber comes off the pan?. It's attached with "nipples" that pull though holes in the pan. Push them through from the other side.
or squezze them one at a time as you pull up on the board. Wife's came off on it's own once and we had to replace it. Make sure when it's reinstalled that all the "teats" are pulled down all the way.

I was trying to avoid using the word "nipple." Guess it would have gotten a chuckle but I have a one track mind. Squeeze the nipples. All 4 of them. Paints a great picture.
