Rear kit? Bolts? not really familiar with their kit. BUT, I did a progressive rear bolt kit on my standard. Take your time, droppin the shocks is easy. Take some weight off the rear, and the bolts will come out pretty easily. Have a hydro press or something comparable to compress those things while you take the snap ring out. Ive got a thread saved that breaks it down a little better. If your kit is a front drop, then disregard this. Lemmy look real quick.

The Burn Out Kit is very easy to install, they are lowering bolts that extend the the stock stem of the shock so you diont have to use a press to dissamble the shocks. Jut remove the shocks and thread the kit on to the end of the stock shock ( I would use red locktite) and reinstall.

This might help fo the shock removal www.fatbillscustoms.com

thanks for the replys, i shoud have been clearer. it is a rear kit that doesnt require disassembly of the shocks, you just gotta remove them to get it on. DarkTrack, i was kinda nervous about this and after seeing your post, now im scared sh%tless (kidding). thats some inovative stuff!

The burnout kit itself is very easy to install. The hardest part is pulling the shocks to install the kit; at least it was for me. Hard is probably the wrong word, or at least requires clarficiation. Its hard to get at the shock bolts, especially the rear ones. Its really hard to get them to break loose. From that point its just time consuming to get the bolts out. I have your standard MC jack and while it does a great job of hoisting the bike it does an equally good job of getting in the way. The combo wrench I had needed the bike up high to use it. High lift put the jack in the way.

While you are under there I recommend you get some nail polish or paint (a lighter color/white) and make a tick mark on the bottom of each shock. That gives you reference later on if/when you adjust stiffness. You'll be certain you are turning both shocks the same amount because you have a reference mark.
