Well guys, made a big mistake today, went in and test rode a nightrod, 3 hours later came back, threw my deluxe fob at the dealer, and put a deposit down on an 010 nightrod, this bike is amazing..getting it next week
put a lot of money into my deluxe, but i have never ridden anything so much fun as the dx......... still will be visiting here as always, to check out all your great softail mods.
Well, congrats on the new bike. Sorry to lose another softail rider. I ran across a deal here locally 2 weeks ago- 2008 Night Rod w/ 5k miles on it- $8,495 USD. No, it wasn't on eBay or Craigslist. Here at a local bike shop.
I knew they made those things for someone, just wasn't my bag. I test drove a nightrod prior to purchasing the Heritage. The tip of my boot was dragging the ground through every curve (mid pegs). Couldn't live with that and hated how the power curve hit on the vrod.
