I went to trade my Night Train in on a used Night Rod but just was not able to stomach the amount of money I would have lost lost with the trade. But someday I will do that trade...and then make a fast little bagger out of it.
Sounds like it might have been an impulse buy. Impulse buying usually comes with regrets. Might want to ask the dealer not to sell your bike right away, just in case. Hope that isn't the case though. Good luck with the new ride.
Congrats on the night rod! I took a muscle on a demo ride and loved it. Wish I could have it this year but I'm still saving for the it - hopefully 2011. Completely different ride then the softail and I want to be able to keep the Rocker. Still thrilled with it.
Good Luck with it, not my idea of a great ride, but to each his own.
Only problem I had trying one out is that the power band starts where a normal V-Twin tops out.
But from there on up, heaven help you if your not ready for it.
Cause them suckers can really go like hell!
That and the damn horn hits my knee in exactly the wrong place.
