Really excited and wondering if I can wait. I sign all paperwork on Friday and will pick up on Saturday my new Softail Deluxe in Lava Red. Got a great deal on a demo from my dealer. Wish me luck.
Good luck, enjoy, be careful, be cool, assume every driver is out to kill you, pray for a decent dealer (that's what it takes), and make your own breaks!
Way cool!!! I have said it before, but I love my Deluxe! The more I ride it, the more I am glad I got this model. I enjoy it so much more than the Dyna superglide. I can do 400 miles and not be exhausted from fighting the bike if the weather isn't perfect. Be sure to post some pics! I still haven't been able to get mine of the Deluxe on here, one of these days....
Great choice, hb! She's a great ride. I managed to keep mine stock for 6 months before I found this forum and saw what other Deluxe owners had done. My wife is kicking me for sinking so much waddage into my bike...but I can ALMOST see the finishing touches now .
How's your new Deluxe? Did you end up getting a great deal on it? I really love mine, of course I have nothing to compare it to because this is my first bike but I sure am liking people stopping me to give me compliments. I'm still waiting on the last of the parts and accessories to arrive to the dealer so that I can put them on. I purchased these along with the bike 2.5 weeks ago!
Congrats on the deluxe! Although I do not own one, I sat on one at the dealer and I must say, it was the most comfortable bike I ever sat on. I bet you'll never get tired on that baby.
