i powder shields ALL the time! it is all in the prep bud... good prep work and you will be fine, if you are running a thunder header though you have to use a high temp! HAVE TO!

On Mikes pipes we shot his shield and exhaust tips in all Wet black.... they are in the huge pile of parts below... (actully the only thing i have left to put on his bike is a few things and the pipes and it is done)

This might sound stupid but can u powder coat the upper/inner fork tubes? To get the COMPLETELY blacked out forks!!
