Burly Bikini Beach Bars on mine, and no comfort problems for me (5' 8"). Even did a 2,000+ mile ride through Utah and a bit of Colorado this past summer (from SoCal).
I have the stock risers and HD beach bars. I'm only 5'2" and have no problem with them. They are very comfortable even on long trips and I can turn the bars all the way to one side and reach.
thankx for all the inputs guys. Project will start soon. I'll alternate between stock risers and 1-1/2" to see how it feels. Need to also decide if I'll stick with Wild1 or go with Burly...
Of cousre, my wife will think I'm nuts again. the first go-around, ripped everything down, to replace bars, cables and lines, tach , etc and she was wondering if the bike would ever run again. Only had the bike a year and rip[ping it apart. GREAT STUFF HEY!!!
Still need to address my Fuel Mgt and pipes. Probably will go with TTS for initial tune since I've been ruinning with the JET airstack. Still undecided on what I'll go with: 2:1's or true dual.
I didn't want the extremely wide beach bars, so I went with the slightly more narrow Burly Bars. I love the feel and you can easily adjust the height to your liking. I kept the stock risers as I felt they looked nice.
I went with the H-D narrow beach bars on 1.5 risers. Coupled w. the heritage seat, I've had to problems with reach (I'm 6'1").
No turn interference or vibration at speed (up to 75mph or so...).
hey big smooth..great looking bike!... i really like the bars on your bike..been thinking of beach bars on my deluxe ...do you remember the particular model or part# for yours?..did you have to go with longer cables with those bars and stock risers?..thanks in advance
